a Banshee bug?

I ripped a CD to hard drive to play while I worked. Banshee starts playing it fine but then crashes - music stops and menu options will not respond to mouse. It wont even close by clicking top right. I have to force close it.

It stops at different places in the music and when I've gone back to check it will play through the point where it just stopped.

Any thoughts before I contact Banshee about a bug.
