8 mount points on hard drive?


Hi, i have a test today and can't find my notes. i have to create the following mount points on hda
linux swap
linux system
/dos
/tmp
/user/local
/var
/data
/home

Whats the best way to set this up? how big should i make each mount point?

Not big, its a school computer, but im not really sure. Probably something like 30gb

This is something I use when installing a Linux distro:

/boot 100MB
/usr 5GB
swap *depends on how much RAM you have
/usr/local 5GB
/tmp 512MB
/var 1GB
/home *rest
