7 zip not installing
 

Hello!

I want to install 7 zip. i typed the commond and it prints the following as


abid@abid-laptop:~/yum/yum-2.0.7$ sudo apt-get install p7zip
E: Could not get lock /var/lib/dpkg/lock - open (11 Resource temporarily unavailable)
E: Unable to lock the administration directory (/var/lib/dpkg/), is another process using it?

Please help me out.

7 zip can be easily installed through "Synaptic Package Manager" !

Another application is using apt / dpkg.
Close Synaptic, or wait for the "Update check" to finish.

( 'Checking for updates' is a background job, i.e. not visible
on your Desktop.)
