Unhappy 502 CHMOD command not implemented.

Does anyone know why I get this via FTP when I go to CHMOD a file?

Just installed Caldera Server 3.11

I get this: 502 CHMOD command not implemented. I can delete, download and upload files.

Should the permissions for httpd, cgi-bin etc. be root or my user name? I have tried every combination it seems.

Appreciate your help,

Thanks
Dave
