500 Internal Server Error - CentOS 5 - PHP53

I recently moved my wordpress website from hostgator, to my own virtual environment - running CentOS 5, httpd, and PHP53. When I try to go to portions of the website, including other open source scripts, I receive a 500 internal server error. In addition, I'm getting an invalid username error when trying to login to my wordpress admin.

Any suggestions or ideas?

Thanks!

I've tried to however, I'm having a slight bit of difficulty in trying to find and read the files. I'm not sure if logging is enabled, to be honest.

It's at /var/log/httpd/error_log and should be on.

Error log has several errors that are very similar to the following, regarding timezone:

[Mon Mar 12 05:28:04 2012] [error] [client xx.xxx.xxx.xxx] PHP Warning: date(): It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected 'Europe/Moscow' for 'MSK/3.0/no DST' instead in /var/www/html/community/modules/mod_beatz_top_videos/helper.php on line 53

I don't see PCRE_UNICODE_PROPERTIES in the php documentation. Are there any other errors?

Well, it is an error and needs to be fixed. It's probably the source of your 500 response as well.
