5.1 Sound Card configuration
hi
i have a Sb live! 5.1 card with altec lansing 5.1 speaker. if i put the volume too high, there is a lound feedback sound (if set in 2 channel mode) and if i set it on 6 channel mode the feedback sound is louder than anything even is my speaker is almost muted.
i use emu10k1 driver as set by alsa but i never saw a place in alsamixer or the gnome mixer where to set between 2, 4 or 6 channel use.
