Question 3G Mobike Internet and Linux Lite

I've an Orange Dongle previously used on computers with Microsoft Windows operating systems. I now want to connect it to a Linux Lite operating system computer. When plugged into a USB the Dongle light does not show and although the system shows the files on the dongle it cannot open them. Help, please.
