3D effects not working in my linux mint.

Recently i had installed linux mint 14 gnome desktop to my laptop. Then i installed proprarity nvidia driver.I installed gnome classic desktop as well.when i logging to my linux mint, nvidia logo appear with some red color warning or some thing at the bottem. But it quickly dissapear and no time to read.
If i log in to gnome classic with effects ,imediatly after loging it has some compiz effets working. Then screen blink few times and there after no effects working. When i open a terminal window i cant type anything in it,i can't move it.It's like everythings stuck there. And border around all aplication windows disapear.
But if i log in to gnome classic desktop with no effects it working fine.
