2nd disk does not show up on RH Linux 5 server

Hello,
I have IBM xSeries 335 blade with two internal 35GB SCSI disks, running with RH Linux 5 Server. I have broken the RAID 1 (mirror) on disks through LSI utility on Blade BIOS level but when Linux boots up it only see 1st disk not the second one. pvdisplay only show 1st disk (/dev/sda). Am I missing anything here. Any help will be appreciated
Thx

I have seen many raid issues in my time, but you have not given enough information I think. You were using an onboard/embedded raid off of the motherboard that you broke. I guess I would recheck first that you actually broke the raid, and that both disks are actually enabled within in the bios to still work. else wise I can not say why you can't see the other as sdb

RAID usually looks like a single drive. That's the whole idea.
