Glad to hear you are connected and I was happy to help.
Do yourself a favour and go and investigate what the connection protocol is (pap or chap). Do a small write-up for yourself and save it. I have a folder with all these notes that I have accumulated. At some stage you may need it again and cannot remember or you can help someone else.

Hi all.
I am having almost exactly the same problem with my evaluation copy of Xandros. Same message and then the connects goes to 'pending'. Sorry but I am even more of a newbie then Expat! 8^)
I can get a connection by entering static IP address but nothing will move. The modem lists devices attached and it doesn't see the PC when it is booted in Linux. It does see it when booted in Windows.
Where are these PPP settings adjusted??? I can't see them in Xandros or on the DSL Modem interface I am accessing via Mozilla.
Thanks for any assistance.
Regards, D
