2 hard disks red hat loaded but grub problem

hey, any help would b appriciated
i have a comp with 2 hard disks, the first one is loaded with windows XP home, the second one i tried to put Red Hat on, it was installed successfully by buring the downloaded installers to a cd as an image. then after the installation, it rebooted and said there was a GRUB Hard Disk Error. how can i fix this? btw the comp doesnt have internet access thanks

Don't know what to tell you, sport.

Show us the contents of your grub.conf and /etc/fstab. That would go a long way the helping us help you.

In my experience, grub is fairly easy to configure. But, info from grub.conf (menu.lst on some distros) and /etc/fstab is CRUCIAL to solving these problems.

yea i figured it out, it was a problem with my m,aster hard drive and my slave disk, i had to reconfigure my BIOS to allow one to be a master and one to b a slave thanks anyway
