2 different Raid drivers at once?

Ok, I'm new to the whole SUSE Linux thing. I had problems installing Linux 10.0 because of issues with the SATA Raid as many of you have based on what I've read on this forum so far. But I finally found a way around it. The new problem is this, it asked me to install something call a Linux Software Raid, but I already have Intel SATA Raid on my computer for my Windows XP Media Center, which is my primary OS. Now the question is this, is it possible to install a Linux Raid to coincide with the Intel Raid, without having to delete Windows XP?

Did you check out this link:
http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/Software-RAID-HOWTO.html

It is really thorough

I run Fedora Core 5 which no longer uses software RAID but now uses hardware RAID & is extremely easy to configure during installation!

Don't know about SUSE but Fedora Core 5 was a breeze when it comes to RAID!

Not an answer I know but might help!

Back to the main question...

OK, seems that none of the replies answer the question. I was just asking if 2 different SATA Raid drivers can co-exist on the same PC together, such as Intel Raid for my Windows XP and the Linux Raid for SUSE Linux 10.

Oh!... Of course they can! Drivers are just software. The one you install under window$ & the one you install under Linux will have absolutely no affect on each other whatsoever. In other words, when you boot window$ it will load it's driver from it's filesystem & when you load Linux it will load it's driver from it's filesystem.

All's well that ends well!
