2.6.25 version of kernel


I want to install the 2.6.25 version of kernel core but i have 2.6.28 version.how to do that?
can I overwrite?

You can have any number of kernel-images available to choose from, but your question can't be "categorically" answered. Consult the documentation for your particular distro.
