2.4.26 and nforce

Hi there. I've recently downloaded the 2.4.26 kernel, because it includes forcedeth support for my nforce2. I was expecting an option under network adapters that says "reverse engineered nvidia driver" or something like that that 2.6.5 has, but couldn't find one. What do I do? I've tried (with menuconfig) saving the config, changing the forcedeth line, and loading the config again, but the module just won't be built.

Also, when I boot up with the new kernel, it detects my nforce2, but says it's not running in 100% native mode, and that it'll probe for IRQs later. Is that bad?

Thanks in advance!
