13.04 Ubuntu update software
 

the softwareupdater just freezes when i try to use it need to login again to clear it.Any solutions thanks:)

Does the software actually get updated?

13.04 is long past end-of-life; I don't believe updates are provided any longer.

I had 14.04 but it kept dropping my wireless connection. 13.04 has never dropped. But I may try 13.10 next until 14.10
