That's a non-routable, local-only, address. It is, typically, used to access the configuration menus on a ADSL or other modem, although the 2 at the end is extremely unusual for such usage. (The modem menus are, without exception in my - not too extensive - experience, either 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1.)
In any case, since that address will not be allowed to pass through any network switch, it cannot be used as an Internet address. It's only a valid address on a home network without any network switches. |
