'make' on one computer for use on another
Hello, all. First post here. Somewhat of a noob. Most experience is with raspberry pi, and a little bit of Ubuntu. I can find my way around a terminal, but will always use apt-get as opposed to building from source. So here's the question:
Is it possible to run the make command on one computer and have it "install" to another? I am messing around with a Dane-elec Media Streamer (running BusyBox). Not a bad device for playing with, but no ssh, only telnet. And it does not have make. Basically what I want to do is try and install an ssh server (like dropbear) by making on my laptop and somehow telnet the result to the MS.
The device takes a USB or SD card. Is there something I could even throw on one of those?
Thanks in advance for the assistance.
