it looks like something is wrong in the actual code, you should send in a bug report

Smile squidgaurd problem analysis and solution

Assalam o allikum! to all muslim brothers and hello to every one

dear brother i have been working on squidGaurd with squid 2.6
so i checked how tos but having problems.

as there are many changes in squid 2.6 than previous squid ver.
so what i analysed is squidGaurd problems because of rights
so please double check rights to solve problem
its better u switch user squid or user who own squid
su -squid
than go to e.g /usr/local/squidGaurd/<directories> like db/dest/adult/* and check rights
u ll come to know exact situations

secondly in squid 2.6.* url_redirect option has been changed
so plz write url_rewrite_program /usr/local/bin/squidGuard instead of
url_rewrite_program/url_redirect /usr/local/bin/squidGuard -c /usr/local/squidGuard/squidGaurd.conf

by double checking squidGaurd rights u ll be able to solve the problem
if Allah Wills.
