I'm having this problem. And I don't know what to do. I'm using FedoraCore4. When i ask to fix it. It then prompt me to enter password. I proceed but still go back to the error message. And then I press Ctrl+Alt+F6 and try to login but everytime i press enter it goes back to login. In another words i can't press enter. I need your help!!!! Please tell me what to do.

I can. when i press Ctrl+Alt+F8. It goes to a blank screen. But i can type something. Please tell me what to type. I need your help. thank You.

FC4 hasn't been supported in some time. Each Fedora only lasts 13 mths. It's quite possible a current (F11) would work, but unless you enjoy re-installing every year, try a more long term distro like Centos.
