Oh almost forgot, I'd say the easiest way of editing fstab is to open a terminal and

<code>
su
nano /etc/fstab
</code>

Besides that log out and and log back in as root

Well thats not exactly what I was meaning, but thanks anyway. It may be of use sometime in the near future. What I meant was this..When I run windows and uplaod pictures from my MemSticks or FlashDrives, I put them in my 'My Pictures' file. (Who doesn't) But when I open that folder up via Linux those pictures do not show. The only files showing are the files that were present were the ones that were present when I orginally mounted that partition. Quick fix though last night. I unmounted and remounted the drive and now everything I add is there, so now all the bin files I have saved to windows I can run in Linux.

But thanks again for your help..

And yes I also learned last night you cannot write to a NTFS partition through Linux.

I will try the code for editing fstab, thanks a million.
