ok, so the CD is fine...tried two burns from an iso file. The cd rom is alright because knoppix boots up alright.
The error I get is during the boot sequence after POST and says:
"DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER"
Now...could this be because the HD has no formatting done to it, but when the HD is formatted the error of "No system" or whatever is put up there and skips the CD completely
On purpose ? If you have an amd/intel pc then you should be using the i386 image. Better than that though, why not just use the new net-installer for Sarge ?
