Red face [cygwin] segmentation fault

Good day all,

Excited with GNOME on my Redhat 9 ...great experience so far!!
Using cgywin to remotely login to my redhat server (from an XP machine ).
If i leave my cygwin screen idle for more then 15mins cygwin would chuck a
segmentation fault (core dump) on me. : (

has anyone had the same experience before?

thanks folks..
