[SOLVED] [B][/B]Mailbox format sendmail with Centos 5.6

Hi everyone,

I already have sendmail dovecot and roundcube webmail in my linux centos 5.6

Problem is that i want to change mailbox format mbox to maildir because maildir is faster and stable.So i search about this and i see sendmail doesnt save in maildir format.

Is there any way to change sendmail save format mbox to maildir.Or do u have any idea for it.

I have a point now. For my situation i have to configure procmail.
An article says:

[To do so, we need to make some changes to Dovecot & Procmail

Edit “/etc/procmailrc”.]

But there is no file /etc/procmailrc. I checked that procmail installed perfectly.

Any ideas ?

There is no answer but someone can face same problem so there is the solution:

1)Create /etc/procmailrc then put

ORGMAIL=$HOME/Maildir/
DEFAULT=$HOME/Maildir/

2) Edit /etc/devecot.conf

mail_location = maildir:~/Maildir
pop3_uidl_format = %08Xu%08Xv

3) Convert mbox to maildir by using mb2md.pl script

4) If u use roundcube mail like me edit sent mail and draft folders to make it work properly.
