**Urgent - NeoLinux Installation Challenge **

Okay, this is a challenge to every linux expert out there: I need to create a bootable CF card for a NeoWare box I bought on eBay. The system came with a CF card loaded with the DSL disto. I have another CF card to use, I have the NeoLinux files on a CD and several Windows PCs available for me to use.

Question - how can I copy the NeoLinux files I have onto the CF card I have and make a bootable CF card for the NeoWare box on a Windows machine?

Can I use the Windows systems to create this bootable CF card for the NeoWare box?

Doesn't seem all that urgent to me.

Google shows lots of hits on how to create a bootable CF card.

If this is a challenge, what do we get if we win?

I can sense the sarcasm in that reply.

Try getting hints from this site: http://silent.gumph.org/content/4/1/...nux-on-cf.html

And:
http://thinstation.sourceforge.net/CF-HOWTO.html

As for the thread being labeled urgent, yeah, that doesn't go over so well on forums but the other members should be more helpful after pointing that out, shame on them.

Patrick16,

where did you find the NeoLinux distro?

We're in a similar position: we bought a dozen NeoWare Caprio 611 and 620 boxes, and
would like to re-flash the internal DOMs from WinCE to a small Linux system that will
fit on the 32 MB DOMs. NeoLinux seems like the natural choice.
