'Random' boot errors with Linux Mint 15
 

Hello,
I am new to Linux. So a few weeks ago I have installed Mint 15 on top of my Win 7 desktop. I use Grub to determine which OS to load.

The problem I have is that in 1 or sometimes 2 out of 3 boots into Mint, the computer freezes or shows some weird stuff. This sometimes happens before getting to the Mint login screen and sometimes even before.

The odd thing is that the other times the boot works without a problem.

Is there somewhere a log file or something that can point me to what the problem might be?

I apologize. I have found the system log. But to be honest, I don't understand anything of what I see there.
I have attached the syslog file. Maybe someone can help me to find what's wrong.

This seems to be an issue with MDM and HTML login screens. I have switched to GDM login screen and did not have the problem again.
