ypbind - YPBINDPROC_DOMAIN: Domain not bound


running gentoo system,

running a ypcat -h flea passwd.byname

sees the server and displays the users i have created.

but when i run ypwhich i get this error

($ ypwhich
can't yp_bind: Reason: Domain not bound

everything seems setup correctly im just not sure how to fix the YPBINDPROC_DOMAIN error gentoo is giving me

nm figured it out, wrong attributes set in nsswitch.conf

problem may be

1. start the ypbind services if does't start the ypbind. problem in your iptable so stop the firewall (iptable) after u can try to start the servies ypbind it will works
