That is what I get when I try to run screen on my Ubuntu 8.04 fileserver. I tried this...

sudo -s
cat /dev/null > /var/run/utmp
reboot
....and that worked for a while. But just now when I tried to connect to screen again, I get that same error message. Please help.

Why not try
sudo chown rozilla /var/run/screen/S-rozilla
