You are all provably like : Man, not another guy asking this!
Well my question differs slightly.
I have an iBurst connection that has dynamic ip allocation on connection. Thanks to coaic, I can use iBurst in SuSE 10.0 but now I'm having a pain setting up my gateway. I was at 10 different sites and they just couldn't help me for weeks now (I didn't work so much on it every week because I had/have like 3 other projects to finish for next week). Really I have tried my best!
Even the textbook for my one cource in Linux "Red Hat Linux Networking and System Administration" had a paragraph or 2 about this subject but didn't help aswell.
Here is my situation:
My /etc/sysconfig/network/ifcfg-eth-id-00:d0:b7:85:42:71 file has the following info (eth0):
NAME='Intel EtherExpress PRO/100+ Management Adapter'
It was generated by YAST.
Now my eth1 interface has this (
NAME='iBurst User Terminal'
It had info but I guess when I created the dsl0 interface it got moved.
My gateway is : 126.96.36.199
I need to set up the routing on my server aswell as IP masquerading.
Any help will greatly be appreciated!
O I have herd of firestarter for easy shared internet connections but this is for a project at university. Its almost done, I just have to get this routing thing working.
