I still have not gotten my linksys wpc11 version 3 wireless pcmcia adapter working. I have made some nescessary changes to a config file for pcmcia per yellowdogs website. I also followed the instructs given to me by the last guy who responded to my ? however ran into a problem at the make all stage. I would appreciate some more help on this matter thanks.
However I have another problem, If I boot from bootx into linux without checking the no video driver check box I cannot see anything once i boot into X cause the brightness of the screen just goes too high. I have tried it with the video mode kernel arguments that are recommended in the engineering notes on yellowdogs site. This works sometimes but mnost of the time i have trouble. Could anyone who has experience with YDL and a powerbook please help, cause I'm gettin ready to shitcan the whole operation and go back to mac os but I dont really want to. As this is the 5th time I have tried running linux and willl have shitcanned it, however I have faith in this community and am hoping someone can assist me Pulease
