I managed to find out how to do it.
I went to this website:
http://network.gouldacademy.org/misc/sshvnc/sshvnc.html
Then I saw that
vnc_inetd_httpd was not a binary executable but a script file (It is found in /usr/X11R6/bin/ in SuSE). I then thoaght of copying the file with the vnc Java classes straight over to my Ubuntu server and BOOM! It worked!
This file is responsible for managing the HTTP port mapping and the Web-based VNC-tunneling for SuSE. Just check your /etc/xinet.d/vnc file in SuSE to see what I mean.
So by using Xvnc and vnc_inetd_httpd, you can still do the same in Ubuntu as in SuSE with ordinary VNC tunneling and HTTP-based tunneling.
I might leave more info on my blog later regarding this, if anyone is interrested.
Thanks for your reply anyway, nx5000.
