Xming + Openvpn

Hi all!

This is my first post in this forum: hello everybody :)
Ok, I've got a problem with xming and openvpn connections.
This is the scenario.
I have a server with centos6. This server has an openvpn service configured and working. It also has the X window system, with xdmcp enabled.
From a laptop outside the lan, I establish an vpn connection successfully to the server. I'm trying also to establish an xdmcp session with xming, from the laptop, but it is impossible.
If I telnet to the server to 177 port (xdmcp), I can see from the server with tcpdump the connections from the laptop (of course it is only to test, since the 177 is an udp port).
If I start xming and try to connect via xdmcp to the server, I cannot see anything in tcpdump from the server. However, within the laptop, I can see with wireshark the packets going out to the server port 177, at least apparently... but it doesn't reach the server. Of course I'm always talking about the vpn connection, so I don't think there is any firewall issue.
I'm running out of ideas. Do you have any one?

Thank you!
