WRT54G - Loading TUN mod but not showing.....

I see that a few people around here have used OpenWrt on the WRT54G router so maybe someones come accross this problem.

Using -
OpenWrt - v1.00-rc3 2004.11.13-09:17+0000
TUN - kmod-tun_2.4.20-1_mipsel.ipk

Added a line to /etc/init.d/S10boot to load the module - /sbin/insmod tun
Loads ok but the interface never shows.

lsmod shows tun as loaded but unused

Am I missing something obvious that I need to do?

Thanks

Figured this out..

The program that was bringing the tun interface up wasn't running correctly - once i sorted this it starts ok....
