FIXED - writing to home directory from windows
i have samba setup and have shares working, i can see and browse the share from winxp and create files in the share. i have setup another samba user so i can see my home directory from winxp as well but i cannot write to it from winxp.
i have a 2 user names setup with smbpasswd -a that works with my linux share (/share)
i have another user setup with smbpasswd -a (my linux login name) that i use to see that users linux home directory (/home/slacker). i can see this directory but cannot write to it.
to clarify, users nbk1w4a and jerry can rw to /share, user slacker can read /home/slacker but cannot write to it
my smb.conf:
