WPA_supplicant & Leap

network={
ssid="ten-179-0"
scan_ssid=1
key_mgmt=WPA-EAP
eap=LEAP
identity="XXXX"
password="XXXXX"
}

What do I need to chang ein my wpa_supplicant.conf for this to work? The laptop is capable of seeing the network and their example configs don't really show how to work specifically with LEAP.

laptop has ipw2200BG, FC4 kernel 1656, with driver version 1.0 and uhm..whatever version if ieee802.1etc that that version comes with.

Sadly, examples for anything under wpa_supplicant are very difficult to come by. Have you tried the example configuration file. (It's for the most recent development version, so some options might not be available yet in your version - but it was the best source of information I could get hold of...

Yes I actually found an example, but I didn't realize I didn't have the right drivers intalled (only 1.0 the 1.09 are needed to support LEAP). I'm just debating whether or not to upgrade the drivers since on my last isntall when I did that, my wireless stopped working correctly.

Heh, back up all of your modules before starting - so you'll have something to restore if it goes to the dogs.
