Workstation login denied

I've configured the SWAT Global setting for Security to domain. Whenever I browse this server from the workstation Network Neighbourhood it is displayed but if double-click on it, a message appears indicating the login was denied.

1) What could be wrong on this setup?

If I revert to other Security options, I got no problem.

Thanks

Are you using a NT PDC or W2K Active Directory ?

If not, use security='share' or 'user '

Yes, I am using NT as the PDC. What should I do then?

TQ

security='domain' should only be used if the workstation is going to belong to the domain.

I'd recommend using security='server' and only validate users, not workstations against the PDC.

Check Samba documentation for several concepts I guess you still need. ( mainly Security.txt)
