Workgroup between Mandrake 10.0 and Windows ME


I recently switched from Windows XP pro to MAndrake 10.0
When i had Windows XP, I had set up a workgroup between a computer with windows ME and with Win XP

But now i have Mandrake 10.0, i have no idea how to do this
Can someone help me ?

You will need to install and configure Samba. There are other programs you may find useful such as Linneighborhood to make life easier. Linneighborhood is not necessary, but provides a windows like Network Neighborhood look and feel. You can connect to Windows shares using Konqueror web browser.

You should find all the software you need on your Mandrake CD's.

The links I posted have a ton on information. Samba is a very complete program, and has many things that can be configured. Take your time, do some reading, and if you have problems, search the forum here, and look through the Wiki section.
