Wireless PCI card suggestions?
 

okay, here's the thing. I've been trying for ages to get wireless on my Ubuntu desktop, to no avail, so I've decided to just get a PCI NIC. That's where you guys come in, I'd rather not have to deal with ndiswrapper(I've lost enough hair on that piece of software), or any other hassles, I'd like it to simply work. or at least have a driver I can download on another computer and put on this one. I'm in Ubuntu Studio 9.10, latest kernel, if that helps

Without knowing what the issue was in your earlier attempts, how do we know that buying a new card is going to help?

My only direct answer is that the Intel wireless devices are always 100% Linux-friendly.

well my previous issue was with a belkin adapter that had no linux support and wouldn't work right with ndiswrapper either, so I figure, if I get a PCI NIC known to work with linux, I should be gravy, correct?
