Windows XP use able to map to Linux share on previous computer but not his new

Hello all!

Heres one for you...

A user using a new Windows XP box is unable to map to several shares on a Linux server.

The kicker... This user is able to access the shares using his previous XP machine. I just installed a new PC for him wich also has Windows XP installed. He cannnot map the drives on this new machine.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance for any help that you can provide.

Ant

Well, since you post no details about the samba/linux configuration, how can anyone here give you any suggestions???

If one WindowsXP machine can do it, and another can't, then there's obviously something different/broken/not configured on the Windows side of things. Have you checked any Windows/Microsoft forums for this? Seen anything in the system logs on Linux, or on Windows?? Without details, there's nothing anyone here can do.
