Windows XP shares not detected by linux

I have three computers on my home network, one is a win xp home, the second is win 98 SE and the other is RH linux 9. Samba is installed and configured and I can see all my Lunix shares from the XP. I have a USB printer on my XP box which I am trying to setup for sharing with the linux computer. I try to add new printer queue and I selected the "Network Windows(SMB)' queue type and my windows 98 computer was detected but the XP machine was not. What could be some of the possible reasons why the windows XP machine was not detected ?

Thank for your help.

SW
