windows xp network with linux server

hey,

is it possible to have my linux server run like a windows server, so users need to login to each workstation when they want to use the computer?

how could i make it do this and are there any admin tools/programs for linux to accomplish this?

thanks

digi

Look in the SAMBA documentation for something like PDC.. Configured correctly, smb can act as a PDC and manage user's logon just like Windows 2000

if samba is already installed, configure it :)

visit www.samba.org and read the docs.
