Windows ad Linux network using ubuntu
 
i have a home network and i want my linux pc to be a part of the network i can access the shared folders on my windows pc from my linux computer, but i cant view my linux shared folders from my windows pc. i went to the network and found workgroup and mshome, mine is workgruop but my linux ps is in ms home for some reason, how do i change this

You can change the workgroup for you GNU/Linux box in your /etc/samba/smb.conf file. You need to be root to edit this file. Make a backup of your smb.conf file before making any changes.

Got my network operational between two systems work little to no trouble.
