Wifi connection problems

Hi guys,

First sorry for my english.

I have installed Linux Mint 8 Helena, and it didn't detect my wifi controller. I solved it installing bcmwl-kernel-source. At this moment the computer detect all the wireless networks. The problem is, i can connect my computer to wireless networks without password, but i can't connect my computer to my wireless network with password ( I put the correct password ;-) ), I have other computers connected with linux and windows in the same house on this wireless network :S .

What happens with my computer? How can i connect my computer to my wireless?

Some idea?

Password? Are we using encryption? Run

wpa_passphrase your_essid your_key

and put _that_ psk bit to wpa_supplicant.conf.
