Question WIFI card is not working in backtrack4


hello,

i m using backtrack 4 in vmware. my prob is that:

i want to use my laptop in built wireless card to search for the near by wifi access point which it is not doing,,
my wifi card is " Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection"

i am a begineer..so plz guide me in details..plz...

You're running in a VM, that means that the real hardware is unavailable to guests, they have to work with the virtual hardware, which isn't wireless.
