why lo interface is not in routing table?

Hello, all.

I have configured loopback interface( well without no problem.
But I can't find any related lo interface at routing table like below.

# route -n U 0 0 0 eth0 UG 0 0 0 eth0

I don't know why lo interface is not seen at routing table?
But it seems to be no problem for service which listened at like spamd.
But I don't know why there would be no problem in spite of without routing table?

Thanks in advance.

It should be:
Kernel IP routing table
Destination Gateway Genmask Flags Metric Ref Use Iface
jesnet * U 0 0 0 eth2
loopback * U 0 0 0 lo
default router UG 0 0 0 eth2
sudo cat /etc/sysconfig/network/ifcfg-lo
root's password:
# Loopback (lo) configuration
