why lo interface is not in routing table?


Hello, all.

I have configured loopback interface(127.0.0.1) well without no problem.
But I can't find any related lo interface at routing table like below.

# route -n
192.168.53.0 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.224 U 0 0 0 eth0
0.0.0.0 192.168.53.1 0.0.0.0 UG 0 0 0 eth0

I don't know why lo interface is not seen at routing table?
But it seems to be no problem for service which listened at 127.0.0.1 like spamd.
But I don't know why there would be no problem in spite of without routing table?
