Unhappy which module should I install for this network card???

Hello!

I have a "Compaq Proliant M350 G3" server and I have no idea about which module I have to install to the kernel in order to make the network card to run. The card is a "NC7760 PCI Gigabit adapter 10/100/1000Mb"

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

whoa....hrm....well, if you are on redhat, and it doesnt work, then a module does not exist on your box for that card more than likely.

Have you looked here:

Iīm using debian... with Redhat there is no problem... the problem with debian is that the module needed doesnīt come with the distribution... I have installed the package needed (bcm5700) but I donīt know how to add the module to the kernel... do you know how to do this?

thank you
