Which application is flooding the network:

Hello all,

One of our systems is currently flooding the network with data causing quite a lot of problems. The system is a:

Code:
Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS release 4 (Nahant Update 5)
Is there a way to find out which application on the machine is sending most of the information? I have tried ntop but it does not seem to be installed, are there any other methods?

thanks, trscookie.
