Angry where is the pptp LOG ???!!!

I've now spent a lot of time over the last couple of nights trying in vain to get my Mandrake 9.0 box to successfully connect via pptp to our Microsoft NT 4.0 VPN server at work, so far with no success.

In order to more intelligently post what I've done so far, and the results, in order to ask for help, I'd like to first look at the log on my Linux box. BUT I don't know where it is or what it's called.

I've tried looking for pptp.log, but haven't found anything.

Thanks for any help,
Steve

Have you enjoyed any success by now at all? I have no idea what to do. Could you please give a rough blueprint of what I need to do in order to start my Mdk-9.0 connect to the vpn server? I guess my situation is exactly same as was yours. Thank you.

I had already looked in /var/log, and didn't find what I was looking for, and no, unfortunately I didn't have any success, so I can't help you.

In the meantime, I tried to setup Firewire on my system and killed the whole thing, so until I get it running again (it doesn't even boot right now) I can't even look into things regarding the VPN.
