What Softlimit value should I put???

Hello Guys!

I was having problems with my qmail cause the queue was increasing and consequently the delivery was getting very slow. Looking for information on google I´ve learned about the files concurrencyremote e concurrencylocal, so I decided to create them and put the value of 120 in each one.

In the /var/qmail/supervise/qmail-smtpd/run I changed the value of softlimit from 300000 to 400000 then restarted the services and put it to work again, almost all day long the server worked very well, but when the queue reached 700 messages the delivery got slow again.

I was using a machine with 512MB of RAM and now it is with 1GB, I would like to know What value of softlimit should I put??

Obs: We have about 250 users...

Thank you very much!!!

Rodrigo
