what no-hassle gigabit network card to buy?

Hi,
getting tired of transfering linux iso's around on my 10/100 network and thought I'd make the jump to a 10/100/1000 network. I'll probably use a D-Link switch because of the price and favorable reviews, but I'm not set on this. My real question is; What is the best, low or no hassle gigabit nic for linux? Mandrake 10.0 is my main distro, but I play around with others (suse, slackware, fedora). I really don't want to have to post a "How do I get my new ### lan card to work?" question later on :)

I hate to break the news to you, its not the NIC that will be a hassle its your distrobution,
that makes the nic a hassle.
