What do i need for my home server?

Ok heres the deal. I have this 400 celeron with 96mb ram and a 6.8 gig hd. What i want to do is install slackware 10 on it and set it up as a home sever for my internet and printer. My other two boxes are my sister pc, my pc, and my laptop all running slackware 10. Bascialyl what i need to know is what i will need to do it and how to do it. Im guessing ill need two network cards in my server. and a switch to hook al the computers up to. I can get all that set up but form there i really don't know where to start especially when it comes to hooking up the internet to the other pcs. My internet connection is verizon dsl and it doesnt have a static ip address. any help would be great and i need to be sure that the two network cards and the switch are exactly what i need hardware wise. thanks.

Well, for starters, you should go over to the tutorials section of this site: here's an article to get you started: Linux Router. The most important tool to route your Internet packets from your server to your LAN is iptables.

If you want to run your own hobby LAN, you will just have to do a lot of reading. Click through the references in my .sig; "Setting up a Linux Gateway" will probably be of interest to you.
